In-house tool manufacturing

Customised and quick solutions for individual demands

The Wolf Group operates its own toolshops at the Regensburg and Sátoraljaújhely sites which hugely contribute to the flexibility and efficiency of the company. Die-cast and deburring tools and equipment of all kinds are developed and manufactured on advanced on-site plant as quickly as possible according to customer requirements and in line with market conditions. Also die modifications, which are necessary for acquisition projects, can be carried out cost-effectively and quickly, thereby avoiding disruption to series production supply. The Chinese site has a very well-equipped tool maintenance section, so that tool repairs, modifications and maintenance are performed in-house flexibly and without any delay.

An expert supplier base is continuously expanded to provide for local acquisition and production of die-casting tools. At present, however, tools are built at the European sites for China to ensure uniform tool expertise and a stable and comparable casting process at all sites. In particular, recent investment in state of the art 5-axis high-speed milling machines and erosion machines has enabled the workshops, particularly at the Regensburg site, to work highly effectively and cost-efficiently. This has enabled the Wolf Group not only to fully cover their die requirements, but also to offer its expertise, acquired over many years, to external customers in the form of die preparation.
