Uses

The most common and versatile alloy used, even for complex, thin-walled castings, heat resistant. For castings with higher stress, especially for die casting.

Applications

Complicated machinery and engine parts for car industry, electronics, mining, etc. crankshafts and other housing, electric motor parts, bearing shields and trestles, cylinder heads, panels, etc.

Main Features

Very good universal castable alloy. Characterized by fewer tendencies to shrinkage and to Innenlunkern. Very good machinability. Prevalent in die casting.
